The NJ Gymnastics Community presented Tony Hernandez and his family with a check for $4,450 raised through a pre-olympic t-shirt sale.
The funds are to help cover their family’s travel expenses to the Olympic Games.
NJ showed their pride in Laurie’s accomplishments by purchasing over 500 shirts in less than a week of sales. Buyers were gymnasts, coaches and judges from nearly every town in the state.
Mike & Mary Milchanowski organized the fundraiser and presented the check to Tony Hernandez and Laurie’s sister Jelysa at the USAG-NJ State Clinic. Laurie and her mom Wanda are “dancing with the stars” in California.
