Congrats to McCusker & Dunne

Riley McCusker/MG Elite and Olivia Dunne/ENA Paramus competed at the 2017 P&G Championships this weekend in Anaheim, CA. Riley finished 3rd All Around in the Senior Division and Olivia had strong performances in the Junior Division.

2017 Region 7 PSP Camp Registration Now Open

The 2017 Region 7 PSP Camp will be held on July 14-16, 2017 at World Class Gymnastics in Newport News, VA.

Gymnasts who competed optionals in 2017 and who will qualify to a minimum of Level 8 in 2017-18 are eligible.
Athletes will be grouped first by level then club.
100 gymnasts will be accepted per level on a first come, first serve basis.

McCusker in American Cup

Riley McCusker makes AT&T American Cup roster! 
With competition kicking off on Friday at Prudential Center for gymnastics’ Triple Cup weekend, Riley McCusker of Brielle, New Jersey and MG Elite, has been added to the roster for the 2017 AT&T American Cup as the second U.S. woman. McCusker joins the USA’s Yul Moldauer, Akash Modi, and Ragan Smith. Click here for a full list of athletes.

USAG NJ Hall of Fame Nominations Requested

USAGNJ is seeking nominations for it’s NJ Gymnastics Hall of Fame.  If you know of a person that did gymnastics,coached or judged for over 5 years in the State of NJ, has outstanding accomplishments and has been retired for at least 5 yrs, please take the time to nominate them for consideration into the NJ Gymnastics Hall of Fame.   All nominations will need:

  1. Picture of the nominee
  2. Completed nomination form (Form can be found on the USAGNJ website)
  3. Short bio (max 1 page)

The picture, nomination form and bio must  be emailed back to Mary Peters, Mcpeters06@gmail.com.  Nominations must have all three parts to be considered.  Submissions must be received by June 1, 2017.  All nominations submitted after June 1, 2017 will be held and considered for the following  year.  After 2yrs, they will be  dropped off the list and must be re-nominated.

First NJ Hall of Fame Inductees

2016-11-05-usagnj-hof_collage_wThe first Class of the USA Gymnastics – New Jersey Hall of Fame were honored at a Gala Event held on November 5th at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe, NJ.
Over 100 members of the NJ gymnastics community were in attendance along with family members of honorees.
