Coaches – Bar Warm Up Survey

Hello Region 7!
I am conducting a survey on a proposal brought to the JOC to limit bar settings in the JO Program for optionals and compulsories.  The survey will only take a couple of minutes.  Please follow this link:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TQZMFBL
The survey will be open until May 1st.  Please encourage your coaches at all levels to participate!
There is a comment section at the end if you would like to add any ideas/concerns for me to share with the committee.  Please note that there will be a National Compulsory Survey in September.
Thanks for your time and input!!  Good luck with the rest of your competition season!
Linda J.

Important 9/10 Regional Meet Info

Attached is the schedule for Level 9/10 Regionals, Level 9 and 10 Regional Announcements, JO Qualifiers Meeting Brochure, Publicity Release Form (Level 10), Athlete Bio Form (Eastern and JO National Qualifiers), All Star Qualification (Level 10). (also posted on the Region 7 and Sportsplex websites)
Roster:  An updated roster of Level 9 and 10 regional qualifiers will be posted Tuesday evening.  Please email any changes, scratches or omissions to Patti Delaney, copy Jen Bortz and Linda Johnson. The sooner we get these, the better!  Remember, if your athlete competes in the wrong age division, she is not eligible for Easterns or JO Nationals.
We will post a club draw later in the week.  We will NOT be posting an athlete draw.  Too many changes…
Announcements:  In an effort to shorten the coaches’ meetings at regionals, please read through the attached announcements before you come to regionals.  This has very important information that will help prepare you for both regionals and nationals.
GK Sizing:  We will be sizing AA places 1-10 after awards for each session.  We realize that 10th place is not an alternate, however we need to be prepared in the event of scratches.
JO Qualifier Meeting:  Scheduled for all Level 10’s who qualify for JO Nationals, alternates, and coaches.  Scheduled for Friday April 7 (PG Complex Field House) 5:30-7:30pm.  Yes, later than last year, but no worries—you don’t want to be on the Capital Beltway or I-95 before 7:30pm on a Friday!!!!  We will pay for entry fees to JO Nationals for all athletes who attend.  If you do not attend, please be prepared to give Jen Bortz a check for $150. payable to “Region 7” after your competition session.  Additional info attached.

Publicity Release Form:  JO Nationals will be streamed, therefore releases must be collected.  Please have these signed by the parent/legal guardian and bring them to regionals.  We will collect these at regional registration for ALL regional competitors.  This way we are prepared in the event of scratches to nationals.

Thanks and good luck to everyone at regionals!!  GO REGION 7!!!
